A GPS card is now part and parcel of many different kinds of technology. Take for example the GPS card for your garden variety PDA or the GPS card for laptop, PC from MCIA, or the PDA devices containing CF technology. Any of these gadgets has been engineered to permit for the use of a GPS Card so as to further enhance their value to the consumer. While it may not be a standard feature on every PDA just yet, a GPS Card adds untold value to the little device and is often the difference between a sale made and a sale lost – all other things being equal.

Some users may wonder why a GPS Card would make such a big difference in the market, and it is asked more often by those who have never been exposed to the power a GPS Card wields than by those who have already experienced the time and money a PDA GPS card can save the owner of that device.

Take for example the GPS card inserted in the PDA of a public service official. Perhaps this individual has business away from the bustling center of town, and his or her dealings may actually take this official to the outskirts of town and beyond. The list of viable uses is almost endless.

To this end, many a PDA now includes a free GPS card in its technological makeup. While most often used by those living in the city to receive driving directions or simply to take a look at a map of an area they will find themselves in, this little component has become a staple item not only for its functionality but also because of the peace of mind it does provide, even if you will never use it.
